I've tried to enable and disable my own set pathway but it didn't help. Path: C:\ProgramData|Oracle\javapath\javaw.exe Its not fun having to keep doing all of this every time I want to swap versions (I play a few servers that are running different versions currently. I clicked the play-button, the game tried to launch but quickly responded with the following error: Unable to locate the Java runtime.Įrror details: The system can't locate java runtime To get it to launch again I have to restart my computer, uninstall minecraft and reinstall it and then try and lunch it, open the task manager and close those launcher files again. When I click the Play-button I excepted the game to start up. minecraft folder and replace in appdata and Minecraft launcher Also replace in C:Program Files(X86)Minecraft Launcher. I am one of the people who was suffering from the 'lag spike of death' in singleplayer, but multiplayer worked just fine. Since I updated the launcher to 2.0.806 I can't even start up the game. I've had similar problems with the old launcher but then the problem occured in game, where I could still get to the start menu. Please follow the below link for step by step clean up. When I try to start up my minecraft, it answers with an error that it can't find java runtime. Step 1: Delete all previous versions of Java (using 'Programs and Features' uninstall process). ![]()
